I'd like to see:

CHKOBJ     OBJ(&LIBNAM/&OBJNAME) OBJTYPE(*PGM)
MONMSG    MSGID(CPF9801) EXEC(DO)
 ...
ENDDO
ELSE DO
...
ENDDO

at V5R4, the else do doesn't work.  I won't speculate on newer releases.
