If you control your system using an HMC it would be in there. The HMC
turns them on for many little things. But it does have a way to turn them
back off manually.

First thing: is the box still running?

Second: Assuming it's still running, check your system operator message
queue for any complaints. And go into SST and check to see whether all
your drives are running.
