That article specifically says, "Note that local time from 1:00:00 to
1:59:59 is repeated this day." On the other hand, that article is not about
the i system.
I would dearly love to see such documentation, especially since my
upbringing and experiences tell me that the article is correct (but not
whether current IBM technology follows this).
On unix systems (at least those that I have administered in the past) it is
a change to the UTC offset. Since all (OK, most) times stored by unix
systems are GMT based, this is not a repeat of time. I'm betting that
iSeries works the same way. But like I said, I'd love to see that
officially confirmed or denied.
