Yes...printers work fine...
but
I would create a device description rather than use the
emulation on the 3488.

The emulation works fine but you have very little control of fonts,etc.

Create a devd using 3812 and use HPT.

You will find a ton of descriptions at rtvwscst that will cover
most HP printers.
