I always do an FTP download - it gives me images to put into image catalogs. Makes it all easy.

Having said that, I wonder if they didn't come down as SAVFs to your i - maybe in library QGPL. Look for SAVFs that start with a Q, followed by the PTF ID. I know there is a file there called QAPZCOVER that has cover letters for PTFs.

But I could be confused here, since I never use this method.

That does not look like a useful page for what you are asking - try this one - http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v6r1m0/topic/rzam8/rzam8fixinterfacecompare.htm

Actually, you might be able just to use the special word *SERVICE in order to install the PTFs - again, I never go this route, so am not sure.

I am trying to install PTF's for the third time in my life and am having

I did a download immediate but don't know where it downloaded to. I looked
in the temp folder on my C drive but don't see them there. I was hoping the
subsequent links they provided would guide me, but they ask a whole bunch of
questions that I don't know the answer to. For example, did I download
fixes received as save files or ISO images of CD's?

Here is the link with the directions I am trying to follow. Am I on the
right page?
