The DSPOBJD is inappropriate for comparing the data sizes. Use the "Data space size" from member portion of the DSPFD. Also the manner of /copy/ influences the dataspace size so until the amount of data becomes very large, simple comparisons are not generally valid. Already clarified in other posts, the use of RGZPFM to reorganize the data in both copies can assist to make such size comparisons more accurate; consider that the auxiliary SID has different rules for reorg than the primary data segments, so there may still remain some issues is simple comparisons. In another post I note that two reorganize requests may truncate the aux SID. Doug posted even better information, and the various SIZE values in the DST MI object dump will be most accurate to pinpoint individual pieces of storage being taken.
