On 99% of IBM i based systems the constraints are coded in RPG or COBOL
programs.
Our product X-Analysis automatically extracts all of these constraints,
unique keys, foreign keys etc.. and documents them for you. It does this by
programmatically analysing the program logic of the system and deriving all
of the constraint logic explicitly. You can export these explicit
definitions as DDL, and even modernize the extracted model as new SQL/DDL
based database automatically with our technology too.
