If it does exist it would undoubtedly be treated as confidential information,
but as Jon brought up my name ...

I just happened upon service program QQFUTILS in QSYS, and if procedure names are any indication, they appear to be similar to the virtual terminal API. I'm not sure if that's meaningful to the discussion, but it seemed like an interesting coincidence. Could they be the Webfacing API?
