Use CA/400 and create a printer session so the iSeries knows where to
send the print streams.

Then send it to a different outq.

subject: Printing barcodes on HP LPT1 attached printers

I'm not sure what is different here:

I already have some HP Printers attached to the network with HP Print
servers at one of our plants. I have created Remote Output Queues
related to these printers and can print barcodes from RPG programs.

Now, I have a situation where I have some HP printers at other plants
which are directly attached to a PC via LPT1 connections. Is there a
trick which I must now do - creating a second printer file to point to
those direct attached HP printers, so that I can print barcodes on them
as well?

Does that make sense?

Thanks,
Don C.
