And here's another exception to the rule:
Anything entered after ENDPGM is a comment.
Try compiling this:

pgm
endpgm
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

Some people may like putting comments at the end for just such ease of
formatting.
