make sure that the hostname and domain name are resolving to one of the IP addressses in CFGTCP option 1.

in other words.. can the system ping its self?

That's IT: CFGTCP option 12 was completely blank. DUHHHH!

It's now up, and I've restarted MSF; now I see if it's possible to send anything.
