SRM might remain the same since it's the same box. It's only when you
restore to a different box that IBM suggests not restoring the SRM.

we were running AS/400's (and just getting started) comm was down for 3
days because neither I, nor the CE, knew what we were doing and when he
inserted a card all resources were renamed. That lesson is burned DEEP
within my body.
