The difference between a table and a physical file is the same as the
difference between a thing and an object.  

Well, that is unless the table you're referring to is the thing that holds
your supper.  There is a difference there, I hope.  :)

I'm not sure why it bothers you either.  But I am sure that it shouldn't.
