DSPPGMREF. Forgot about that one, and I don't know if I ever did notice that it displayed the format level ID. Definitely something to remember.

No, they don't match, and the one from the DSPPGMREF matches the one for the "production" version of the file. Which is present on the development box, in the same library as the source member from which I'm compiling, but that library is NOT in the library list at compile time.

The "production" version of the file SHOULDN'T have any way to wedge itself into the compilation, and yet somehow it IS doing so.

Thanks, Mark. At least I know a little more than I did, and I have an idea of how to undo it.

But further advice would be appreciated.
