With DRDA you can be connected to only one iSeries at a time - you can't 
join data from one iSeries with another in one statement.

IBM do have some federation stuff in their WebSphere Data Integrator 
product - one of the big $$$s things. That could connect to several 
databases, but I don't think that is what you want, anyhow. Individual 
connections to get that data, then move on to the next - either using 
DDM or DRDA remote database.
