Dennis,
I am sorry, Information was not correct .
The log says this(I put nnn to hide customer's IP):
Message ID . . . . . . : TCP2615 Severity . . . . . . . : 20
Message type . . . . . : Diagnostic
Date sent . . . . . . : 04/02/10 Time sent . . . . . . : 16:24:37
Message . . . . : TCP/IP gateway nnn.nnn.nnn.254 unreachable.
Cause . . . . . : TCP/IP gateway nnn.nnn.nnn.254 is no longer reachable from
this system. Connections routed through gateway nnn.nnn.nnn.254 may fail if no
other route to the connection destinations can be found.
Recovery . . . : If the problem persists then contact your network
administrator. If gateway nnn.nnn.nnn.254 becomes available again another
message will be posted to indicate the gateway is now reachable.
This seems to be overload in network as you can see from this article:

I have a iSeries system which sends 2000 syslog datagrams per 1 minute
to syslog server on a PC.
In my test iSeries it works correctly (but takes some CPU for a short
time).
In the customer's site TCP/IP crashes immediatelly and there is a need
to STRTCPIFC ENDTCPIFC to work again.
Someone knows abou
t such experience and /or solution ?
(Your STRTCPIFC / ENDTCPIFC sequence is incorrect.) Is there a job log on
the server (remote) system? What is the OS release level of the remote?
How are these files being sent? FTP? Something else? What services
actually end? What is the status of the line before ENDTCPIFC? What type
of line is this?
