Hmm, interesting..

Did you create the source file as code page 285?, as that what it was 
created in.

If you did, what code page is your session/job in?  You could try 
chainging your job/session to 285 and see if that helps.

I'll try changing mine to the code page your using to see if I can 
replicate your problem.

I know pound signs can be a problem, as can dollar signs in other 
programs I've downloaded in the past.

I would not recommend going through changing all the £ signs, as I think 
there may be thousands of them and the next release would have the same 
problem.

BTW, it would be best to discuss this on the forum I set up, as I don't 
really want to clog the mailing list with support requests!
