In an e-mail that was received yesterday:

"Dear IBM i Instructor,
It is with sincere regret that I write to you regarding the future of 29th
Street Press. Our parent company, Penton Media, has made the decision to
close the book publishing business. It was a difficult decision but there
have been steady declines in our academic and retail book publishing
business over the past few years. Penton will continue to promote and sell
all existing print inventory. However, we will no longer issue reprints on
existing titles or publish any new print book editions...."
So that answers a question that was raised.
