Have never done it. Investigated it. There are packages but I'm not sure of the names. You can look up Pat Botz from Group8 Security who can provide a lot of knowledge on this and he has some tools. What I would like to see is or IBM to let me create a userprofile and point that profile to an LDAP server of my choice to validate the password. Simple straight forward, no EIM, no Kerberos, and its up to be to choose if that configure meets my security requirements. Users with a low level of access rights I could do LDAP, users with higher level I could not.
