Almost none of the emulators allow you to choose the terminal type. Instead they offer a screen size choice. Generally the 3rd-party ones simply copy PC5250 which uses a 3179-2 for 24*80 and a 3477-FC for 24*80. The DBCS version of PC5250 uses 5555-C01 for both screen sizes-- it can do this because whether the emulator accepts wide-screen data is a result of the correct response to a 5520 Query Request rather than anything inherent in the device type itself.

Why do you think you need a specific terminal type for Win7?
