Thanks for the advice.  I'll have a look at your site this evening.  :)

I do understand - it's what we had to do back before these APIs started
appearing in V2R3 (I think) - it's just less convenient.  So what I've
landed on is that I will write my own @PGLPGMREF API.  When it's done, I'll
post the code somewhere, and a link here.
