Jerry,

The cover letters for downloaded PTFs are contained in the file QAPZCOVER in
library QGPL.  Each downloaded PTF is a separate member in that file.  I
usually use PDM to get to the member level and list the PTF on the screen.

When you load (LODPTF) and apply (APYPTF) there is an option *SERVICE for
the device.  This finds the PTFs downloaded to QGPL as SAVF types of files.

You can also use the iSeries Navigator to PTF cover letters, load and apply
those downloaded to QGPL, and remove or cleanup PTFs.  You have to take an
inventory of the PTFs first, and need to have Management Central running to
do that.  Even if you only have one IBM i server, you have to use Management
Central.
