In place of attaching the PDF in the email or converting to HTML, would a
link to the PDF work?
that might be easier to automate.
Another option that came to me was converting the PDF to an image file,
like JPG or TIFF.
I believe that Ghostscript and/or imagemagic can help with that. Bot can
run on the i in the PASE environment.
