We really need to see the joblog. See the following:

Test script 1:
md '/rob/dina'
edtf '/rob/dina/test1.txt'
F3=Save/Exit
edtf '/rob/dina/test2.txt'
F3=Save/Exit
rmvlnk '/rob/dina/test2.txt'
Link removed.

rmvlnk '/rob/dina'
CPFA0B1 - Requested operation not allowed. Access problem.
Translation: Can't remove a directory with rmvLNK, try rmvDIR instead.

rmvDIR '/rob/dina'
CPFA0AC - Directory contains objects. Directory is /rob/dina.
Read the help. Since directory contains objects you can either blast all
the objects individually, or use the subtree option.
rmvDIR '/rob/dina' subtree(*all)
2 object links removed. 0 object links not removed.
