subject: tn5250j what's required on the host side

Greetings, I have downloaded the tn5250j.jar from www.mowyourlawn.com
(Thanks) and now I'm stuck.

Configured a connection to my iSeries.
Connect with the client on my PC and I see is a blank screen with a
cursor in row 1/column 1 and "X - System" displayed on the bottom left
side of the screen.

Do I need to run something on the server side to get this working?

Thank you,
Bob
