That's pretty much what we did. I've used our move to Power 6 systems
to get rid of AnyNet.

Then again, when i started working here in 2005, i got rid of our
TokenRing network for a few 170's we still had for qa purposes, by
using Ethernet cards from discarded systems.

Time moves on - and it's the techies that have to push the lazy
developers and customers forward in time.
