Hi David,

Use double quotes around the library.
==> crtlib lib(loyd.good) type(*test)
==> CRTDUPOBJ OBJ(DEPTMAP) FROMLIB(PROD_DTA) OBJTYPE(*FILE) TOLIB(LOYD.GOOD)
DATA(*YES)
==> strsql

===> select * from "LOYD.GOOD"/deptmap
SELECT statement run complete.

Single quotes don't work:
===> select * from 'LOYD.GOOD'/deptmap
Token 'LOYD.GOOD' was not valid. Valid tokens: ( TABLE LATERAL <IDEN

Loyd

Folks:

Anyone know if there is a way, in SQL, to use a full qualified library &
file where the library has a period in it?

Something like this: alter table lib.rary/filename add column new column
...

Thanks!
