Good suggestion.  And, actually was the official IBM line when OV/400 was 
phased out.
We're a big Domino shop.  We have about 30 domino servers all running on 
various lpars.  However, we are not using it for mail merge.  We just do 
not do mail merge though, at least not since OV/400 died.  We have various 
hooks into Domino including Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI) and calling 
stored procedures on our i from Domino.

Then again, some people love to use Excel as a word processor.  Y'all know 
there are APIs to imbed stuff into Excel from RPG, right?
