Frank,

Here is an example from a CLLE program we use:

RUNRMTCMD +
CMD('c:\windows\Upload_All_Document_Links_UTC.cmd') +
RMTLOCNAME(&servername *IP) +
RMTUSER(&username) +
RMTPWD(&password)

One caveat: iSeries Access for Windows must be installed on the server, and the " iSeries Access for Windows Remote Command" service must be running.

Subject: Initiating pgm's on servers from the AS400

Hi Folks, I've been asked for a way to initiate the running of a pgm on
a server from the AS400. What are the ways that this can be done? I
tried webcrawler some time ago but that was clugy and was quickly
dropped.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Frank
