It depends...are you using FTP for anything else?

The system decides where to put a user when they log on by using the settings in the system FTP attributes. It sounds like yours is set to *CURLIB which sets it to the current /library/.

The simple answer would be to change the home directory in the user profile of the user in question to whatever directory you want and then use command CHGFTPA to change the CURDIR() setting to *HOMEDIR. Keep in mind that this will change the behavior of /every/ ftp connection of the system. (NOTE: You /may/ have to change the NAMEFMT() parm also)

If the above option isn't possible, you could look at the QIBM_QTMF_SVR_LOGON exit point which allows you to override some of the environment settings.
