We upgraded two test systems a couple of weeks ago. We discovered that the
HTTP server was starting automatically now and that REALLY slowed our
startup processes. It eventually leveled out but we end up shutting down
the HTTP server to avoid the slowness.

Another issue could be memory requirements. It appears 6.1 may require a
little more memory than 5.4 so we are looking into that. One of those
systems we upgraded was pitifully low anyway. May be your issue as well?

Just two things to look at.

Hello all,

We just upgraded our DEV machine from V5R4 to V6R1. We are facing a
serious
performance degradation and this scares me since we are planed to move
our
production system to V6R1 next week.

Did anybody also encountered a serious preformance problem after
upgrading?

If so, how did you solve it (PTF...)

Thanks
