Bob, did you know that Excel has available a data download add-on to directly download queried data to a spreadsheet? The query portion is defined inside Microsoft Query. It's an optional add-in that I believe is not selected when doing a "Typical" install. Once you've installed MS Query, you can query your iSeries databases via an ODBC driver available when you intall iSeries Access.
