If I open a member, then Ctrl-A and Ctrl-C, the source is on the clipboard - no line numbers. I suppose you could right-click the desktop, select New->Text file and paste it into the text file.

Eh?

Rob,
I have never been an SEU user. I use WDSC exclusively for development.
I'd rather be able to just do a right click on the member in RSE and be
able to copy then go up to the local directory and paste to my desktop as
a text file without all the line number stuff on the left. Makes doing a
source compare a pain in the arse since I only care about actual code
differences.

Re: Copy source file member to pc

Bryce,

It's not clumsy if you are using the right editor. Stop using SEU and
start using it's replacement. What's clumsy about Ctrl-A to select all,
Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste into Notepad? Granted there are click
options to replace Ctrl key functions but it's shorter to type up Ctrl key

instructions.
