If by editing he means the customers what a PDF form with fields they
can fill in, aka a "fillable PDF", then what he wants is certainly
possible with customers using just the free Acrobat Reader.

Acrobat Reader allows fillable PDFs. See the link I provided earlier
to the help...

Well I want santa to bring me a Dodge Viper for Christmas too.  Some

someone knows of a Lotus Notes, Outlook, or Thunderbird plugin that allows
PDF editing for FREE, I'll gladly be wrong.

RE: PDF Documents

Bryce,

I have suggested this option also, I was told the customers (and there
are many) do not want to have to pay/use software to edit the PDF.  They
want to receive the attached PDF in there email and auto magically be
able to edit it and send it back to us

Thank you

Once the customer has recieved the document they can use
Adobe Acrobat to edit the document.  Not Acrobat Reader,
just Acrobat.

Check here...
http://volumelicensing.adobe.com/store/adbevlus/DisplayHomePage

Its $299 for a single license.

Here is a third party PDF editor/creator for $99
http://www.nitropdf.com/professional/edit-pdf.htm

Googling PDF Editor will get your more options.

PDF Documents

Greetings,

We have a couple of applications that generate spooled
files on a 520 box
w/v6r1 and a 3rd party solution that will email/fax the
documents to our
customers in PDF format.  Our customers want to be able to
edit the PDF
and send it back to us without having to print the document
out.  Can
anyone offer any suggestions and/or point me towards the
right direction
as how I may do this using our existing process.

Thank you
