We are trying to come up with specifications for a Power 7 system that will be used for both iSeries and AIX.

With the AIX system an adapter can be used to connect to a SAN system. Can the same adapter be used for the iSeries or will another adapter be needed? Can the iSeries be connected to a SAN network other than an IBM brand SAN such as a Hitachi?

If we add specific disk storage for the iSeries, can the Power Mobility function still work for the iSeries?

I hope I have asked these questions correctly. If not, please ask what needs to be clarified
