Those old S20 and 720 machines are gold mines!

Last load of stuff (1 1/2 weeks ago) they paid:
Steel: $210 a ton.
Lead batteries: $320 a ton.
Aluminum: $700 a ton.
Copper: $6,000 a ton.

But you do have to take them apart. Computer recycling companies generally charge you to accept them due to the amount of labor required. But these are among the best machines for recycling as IBM builds them to come back apart.

When we recycle them only the plastic doesn't get recycled. Git yerself a 7MM and 5.5MM nut driver and have at it!

P.S. if close to West Michigan, we pick up!

Subject: iSeries Needs A New Home

I have an iSeries model 720 that was given to me three years ago. I've
been on the road and haven't had the opportunity to do anything with it.
The box has been sitting in my garage with my BMW motorcycles for three
years. I don't have 220v wiring in that area and with me being on the
road as I am, there is no hope of me using this fine computer.

I will give you the iSeries which consists of a base and expansion unit if
you can pick it up at my home in Montgomery, Alabama. The box ran when it
was delivered but there are no guarantees it runs today. Perhaps it will
run or can be used for parts.

Mrs. Munday wants it out of the garage and has threatened to crush it at
the local recycler.

If you are interested, contact me at [1]RWMunday@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx It will
be out of my garage by the end of 2010 one way or another.
