Do you have the appropriate Service Pack for your new Op's Console also?

Windows 7 requires Lan console and not the Async connection. XP also
supported the Async connection (at least at 6.1, not at 7.1).
6.1 of Lan console requires Service Pack SI35607 or later.

Upgrading from 6.1 to 7.1 requires you put on a current SP of 6.1 first,
do a migration, then you can upgrade to 7.1. (See above web page.)
