Rameez,

Thanks for the email.

However, i don't understand why the receiver would not have been saved
again. The OLS_JRN library is saved daily and a full system save is
done weekly.

It is possible. The journal in question must have a state of PARTIAL. Other
journal receivers in the chain may have a status of SAVED. A CHGJRN
JRN(OLS_JRN/JRNOLS) JRNRCV(*GEN) is done nightly. However this action
attaches a new journal receiver. When the save would run on the new attached
journal it will have a state of partial. All Partial jouranl receivers would
show Detach Date and Time to 00/00/00. Partial journal receiver are saved
while they were attached and they were not saved again after that.

For e.g. journal receiver JRNRCV2275 was saved at a point that it's last
sequence number was 605333505.When it was detached it last sequence was
605584887, but it was never saved after that point. This is why  there is no
detach date or time, the receiver was never saved after it was detached.

Would sent you a seprate mail, that would help.

There's a hiper ptf that was just released on Thursday (I think) that
sounded similar.

The entry in JROLSR1629 is dated 11/22/08 at 12:25:00...

I was able to delete it....

But I'm curious as to what was going on.

Thanks!
