Recompile the externally described print device file.? The "IGC" indicator for a record format [carried into the file-level] is a change-incapable attribute of the file; i.e. set by the "compiler" CRTPRTF. AFaIK the use of the Open data type effects activating the IGC attribute. The IGCDTA(*NO) for an externally described printer file has no bearing on that attribute of the format\file; per CHGPRTF:
