Free options first:
In V7R1 you can use Transformation Services (I think that's what it's called) to convert spool files to PDF.   In V6R1 it was limited to AFP but now I believe does *SCS.

As far as sending you can use SNDDST and IBM Infoprint Server on V7R1 if desired.

Commerical options:
We offer a product called iForms that can be used to replace Create!Form. You can generate PDF forms from spool file or pure database driven templates. 

We also have a document management product (WebDocs) for publishing the forms and email software for automating form delivery.

If you like Create!Form, we have products for simply delivering and printing the documents generated by Create!Form.

Our systems are running V5R4, and we are in the planning process for an 
upgrade to V7R1.

I have been tasked with determining the best way for us to convert certain 
spooled file to PDF files and either posting them to an internal web page or 
emailing them to users.

It is also possible that some of the spooled files will contain double-byte 
information.

We have Create!Form, which I know can convert spooled files and email them, 
but I know that there are various other ways to do the PDF conversion.

However, I would like to compile and aggregate information about the various 
ways that it can be done, perhaps with pros and cons, and post it on a 
midrange wiki page to make this easier for others who might have a similar 
requirement in the future.

I am open to all responses, including vendor solutions...
