That's interesting - I confess I'm not sure.

Does the mail send by SNDDST go outside your network ?

Do youhave a QSMTPQ showing when you do a WRKDSTQ ?

Maybe send an email then check the distribution log to seehow the mail
was processed.

You don't say how users receive stuff send via SNDDST - is it sending
email to any internet address ? Try your gmail or hotmail if you have
one...

Thanks for the info.

Looking at CHGSMTPA attributes it shows MAILROUTER= *NONE, given this, how
does it resolve to the email server to use?

Thanks

Different SMTP Servers specified ?

I guess you know what SMTP Server you are specifying in the call to
QTMMSENDMAIL so you might want to compare it to the SNDDST SMTP Server by
checking the MAILROUTER parameter displayed by the CHGSMTPA command.

Why would SNDDST work for sending emails to external email address

And the QTMMSENDMAIL be blocked by the email server

Using telnet to manually send email get message:

"553 Relaying blocked at this site."

Thanks
