found the link to the "media contents" listing:

What is the need for you to load V5R1? I would load V5r2 or even V5r3, which your 270 should except.

OK, it's time to get in the way back machine.

I'm setting up an little 270 in my basement (what else would I be
doing
at Christmas time) and started with a scratched system. When running
the OS
(V5R1) install a few questions came up.

1. When installing the SS1 options I selected #33 (PASE) but the
install
reported not found on media. I have the full set of B2924_01 through
L2924_02. So where is 5722SS1-33?

2. I have an extra CD labeled F2924_01 "WDS". I thought I loaded
all of
the WDS languages/compilers from the L2924_02 CD. So what is this CD?

3. I also thought I would install WebSphere Application Server AS1.
But
my old listings of this box (before initialized) show it was 5769AS1
and not 5722AS1. So what give with this? And what CD is this on?

Thanks and now you can return to this century.
