Thanks,
No, I have it set so the results show in the same window. But there were no results anyway : I'd made a mistake in my create view statement so I got an error when I ran my select on the view. When I went back to execute drop view, create view, I found the view locked .

Did you close the results within the second script in which
you accessed the view?
(Edit --> close all results)

Betreff: iNav sql script locking object

Hi all,

Had 2 sql script windows open. In W1 created my view, in W2
ran the request using the view. The result wasn't right so I
went back to W1 to correct the view.

This was basically :

Drop myview;
Create myview as....;

On running the script, I get an error saying the view is
used. WRKOBJLCK showed 2 jobs (I assume for each sql script
window). Had to close the windows to end these jobs after
first copying their contents to 2 new windows.

What am i doing wrong?

Thanks.
