IBM used to have a utility library (RDFONT) that contained a program
that would generate a font sampler catalog...

I don't know if you can still find it, the only thing I found was
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/printers/products/as400/readme1.txt

You might try browsing the IBM FTP web site above, (I can't easily do
so from the office)

Charles

I currently use a few fonts in my prtfs using the FONT keyword. Years
ago I made a printer file with a number of dummy fields which I assigned
different font #s to. I printed it scores of times, changing the font
#s each time so I could find out what the fonts I have look like.

Now I need to do this all again because my current fonts won't scale to
the size I need. Is there an easier way to get a sample of these
fonts?? I'm going to go crazy[er] if I have to redo that all over
again...

Thanks!
