If your socket program is coded as a socket server (listener), you may
want to take the opportunity to google INETD and look for articles by
Scott Klement relative to INETD.
Basically INETD is a socket server that spawns it's own threads which
become separate jobs. A lot of the complexity and management of the socket
job is no longer necessary with INETD.
Thanks, Jerry
