I would use the options to check your cache batteries on a regular basis.
1. Start a service tool
7. Hardware service manager
9. Work with resources containing cache battery packs

We order when the "Estimated time to warning (days)" gets less than the
duration until the downtime after the one we have coming up. Granted, we
have an extra 76 days between warning and error. So that, and our policy,
gives us quite a leeway.

Then again, it took several weeks to get our last cache battery from IBM.
I sure as shooting wouldn't want to be dead in the water waiting that
long.
