Opened a pmr and IBM confirmed it for me. Yes, I can swap out the full
height drive for two half height drives on the 3573-L2U and each drive
could then be hooked up to separate lpar's. Then I do some configuration
on the library itself to assign the various magazine slots to the various
drives.
