Interesting. I can run this without any apparent problems (V5R3):

DISCONNECT MY_SYSTEM;

CONNECT  TO MY_SYSTEMUSER TESTUSER USING 'TESTUSER';
SELECT * FROM TESTFILE ;

Nevertheless, if TESTFILE is not in the *LIBL, it gives a SQL0204 error
indicating that TESTFILE can't be found for the "old" user (the one I use
for sigining in to iNav initially), as if the
