Have you tried a trace to see what packets are coming back from the
other side in each case (batch vs. interactive)?

This is actually forced to go out through a route that is on a NIC that
gets started and stopped when this runs and is outside of the firewall.

If you insert a put or get command prior to the dir, does it also lock

up on the put/get?

If so, this is likely to be a firewall problem.

Though, I don't know why it'd work interactively... it may just be
coincidence.

I have an FTP script that does the following:

user password
SENDPASV 0
lcd blib
dir (disk
quit

When I am doing this in a program overriding INPUT to a QTXTSRC
member, it hangs up on the dir (disk command. When I run this from a
command line manually keying in all of the same commands, it works just
fine.

This is using SSL and I did have to update the certificates on
Monday, but I don't know what that would have to do with this problem.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have never seen anything like this.

TIA,

Jon
