Would that have been the joblog showing the STRPASTHR request, or the joblog that the message suggests should be reviewed; i.e. "the job log for job &5/&4/&3 at the target system"? Besides that joblog on the target system, there is probably some value in also checking the history log for any messages that appear related to the issue, and then reviewing the joblog of the job from which each message was issued.

If there is no message on the target system in the joblog noted by the message, then report the issue to your service provider [e.g. IBM] as a defect; i.e. the message on the local system said a message would be logged in at the target system in the named job, but there was none, so that is a defect.
